Client Challenge
The need of a technological scouting of the storage technologies available, able to accommodate a significant increase in generation form renewable sources and to strengthen the quality of supply for final customer.
What we've done
The project has the object of putting in evidence the need of storage through a scenario analysis in the framework of the 20-20-20 policy. It focused on:
- Definition of a suitable methodology for estimating the balancing capacity requested.
- Simulation within the Italian case for the year horizon 2020
- Technological Scouting
