IPH GmbH

In Berlin is located the biggest of the two german platforms of the CESI Group.

Brief History

1956	IPH founded as national German high-power test laboratory
1980	Start of cooperation with CIGRE and IEC
1988	IPH becomes autonomous, a legally independent test laboratory
1990	Change into a GmbH (limited liability company)
1991	Start of cooperation with VDE Test and Certification Institute; IPH becomes member of PEHLA;
1993	Initial accreditation by DATech (?the German Accreditation Board fo Technology)
1995	IPH becomes member of ALPHA
1998	Privatisation by Berlin power company BEWAG; IPH becomes associated test laboratory in STL
2002	Acquisition of FGH E&T GmbH as a subsidiary
2004	Initial accreditation by IECEE as CBTL; Initial accreditation by ASTA
2005	CESI takes over IPH from Vattenfall

Facilities

IPH offers a diverse range of additional services for all testing activities taking place at the platform.
Thanks to our assembly halls, crane and lifting equipment, and transport vehicles (fork lifts and moveable platforms) the customer will be facilitated in the assembly and disassembly phase of his test objects, receiving also the adequate support in order to reduce, as much as possible, his permanence mainly to the testing time.
Furthermore, in CESI Group health, safety and environment are a major concern, for this reason we provide to our customer SF6 handling equipment ; everything in order to to make sure that the tightest German, European and international rules are observed.

Customer Service

Safety Instructions

During the entire permanence of the customer in our platforms, safety is for us a crucial issue.
Therefore at customers’ arrival at the platform, a paper copy of our safety rules will be distributed and our people will explain the general rules to avoid dangerous situations.

Taxi service

IPH gives assistance in ordering taxi transport from IPH to a departure location, such as to airports, railway stations or to the respective hotels or other destinations.
