Client Challenge

Technical assistance to REE for surveillance of basic engineering studies and main component specifications carried out by the converter station supplier.

What we've done

• Basic system design studies for the converter station: main circuit design, power studies (reactive power compensation, reactive power control,…), and DC Temporary Over-Voltages (TOV), AC and DC filter design, circuit breaker requirements;
• Surveillance on main components specifications
• Control & Protection specifications surveillance of basic engineering studies and main component specifications during the project realization of a HVDC link
