The Renewable Integration Development Project (RIDP) is a project being undertaken jointly by NIE, SONI and EirGrid to help fulfill the Governments renewable targets and to enable the connection of wind farms entering the planning process.
What we've done
CESI, together with WYG Ireland, has been awarded one of the phases of the RIDP project. Under this assignment, CESI is responsible for undertaking the technical studies in order to assess the feasibility and cost of the examined schemes using a multicriteria approach to compare the schemes and to define the preferred solution, for which a construction implementation plan will be carried out.
