Client Challenge
The design of the infrastructure to be implemented over the next 10 years in Ecuador for the transportation of the energy that will be produced by hydroelectric plants in the Andean region to the consumption centers, the capital Quito, and especially the industrial area of Guayaquil on the Pacific coast.
What we've done
CESI as Consortium leader has been the responsible of the overall project.
- Capacity building: training course on methodologies and special SW for network planning, training course on electromagnetic transient and protection coordination, training course on HV substation design, training course on HV lines design, benchmarking on HV lines and substations
- Planning studies: electrical studies (static, dynamic and electromagnetic studies), economic studies
- Detailed Design of the El Inga substations
- Detailed Design of the transmission system Coca Codo Sinclair-El Inga
