Client Challenge

• Network studies for the connection of Wind Farms in Romania for ENEL DISTRIBUTIE ROMANIA (ENEL Group).
• Offshore wind farms in the Netherlands: connection solutions and system aspects for the European Commission.

What we've done

• Romania: CESI performed the technical analysis of the system behavior both from static and dynamic point of view.
• Netherlands: the modeling of the transmission and distribution system in the relevant areas of the network; the steady state analysis; a rough evaluation of the costs related to the different connection solutions.
